PARKING
Before heading out on your Foothills Trail adventure it is VERY IMPORTANT to Pay the Parking & Entrance Fees at the State Parks and U.S. Forest Service parking area at Whitewater Falls.
If a vehicle is left in the parking area, a parking fee is required at Oconee and Table Rock State Parks when hiking/backpacking on the Foothills Trail.
At OCONEE STATE PARK: You may pay fees at the Park Entrance. Complete the information on the envelopes provided and include parking fee of $5 per day. Display the parking permit in a visible location on your dash or place the hang tag on your rear view mirror. You may also pay for parking at the Park office during regular office hours. To reach the Park office for hours and information call 864-638-5353.
At TABLE ROCK STATE PARK: Foothills Trail hikers must display a valid parking permit when leaving a vehicle overnight. The permit may be obtained for $6/day per vehicle at the Park Headquarters/Visitor Center located at 158 Ellison Ln. Pickens, SC 29671 . For questions about parking contact the Park Headquarters at 864-878-9813.
At U.S.FOREST SERVICE parking area at Whitewater Falls: FEE STATIONS are located in the parking area. Complete the information on the envelopes provided and include parking fee of $2 per day. Place the hang tag on your rear view mirror
HIKER REGISTRATION
*Please note: The parking fee is NOT your hiker registration. Kiosk registration is required for both day and overnight hikers.

- Table Rock State Park
- Oconee State Park
- Frozen Creek at Gorges State Park
