The OFFICIAL guidebook of the Foothills Trail Conservancy. This is our Golden Anniversary Edition Guidebook.  A must-have for the experienced hiker and the novice alike.  Includes new cover artwork, reduced weight by 1.5 ounces, improved trail descriptions, color maps with designated campsites, and a new updated section on the History of the trail and Conservancy.   Contains fold-out topo maps for each trail section. Detailed text descriptions of each section provide excellent information about the route, difficulty, water sources, views, designated campsite locations, etc. Text is written east – west in one section and west – east in another. Contact information is also provided for parks and the USFS districts. A small section of diagrammatic maps helps located trailheads. An elevation map is included. Three major spur trails are described. Guide is spiral-bound for easy copying. Proceeds from the sale of this guide are used in the maintenance of the Foothills Trail.
